The fat bike:
- Is locked with an approved ART2 lock and
- Is provided with an active track & trace system that has been approved by Fris Nederland.
- The approved track & trace system:
- Is on when you are not riding the fat bike, and
- You have an active search subscription Fris Nederland.
- In the event of theft, we may ask you to send the original keys to the approved ART2 lock.
- The number of the keys is the same as the number on the policy schedule.
- At least 1 key has clear signs of use.

There are 2 options:
- Smart Tracker from Fris with tracking subscription.
Fris installs the Smart Tracker on location. You will receive an appointment confirmation by email within 48 hours of your order. The technician will tell you how the tracker works and how to activate it. With the Smart Tracker you can Fris track and find your stolen fat bike in real time, indoors and outdoors. You pay €1 once. This includes the costs of the tracker. The tracking subscription costs €50 per month. You pay these costs directly Fris Nederland. - Fris tracking subscription (register GPS Track and Trace for tracking)

Yes, this is mandatory to be insured against theft with Interpolis. Not every track & trace system is easy to trace. Fris Nederland assesses whether a track & trace system meets the requirements. Is the track & trace system in your fat bike not sufficient? Then offers Fris Nederland the option to have one Fris Buy a Smart Tracker with a tracking subscription.
The Fris subscription runs for the same duration as the Interpolis Bicycle Insurance. If you cancel your Interpolis Bicycle Insurance, you are allowed to do so Fris also cancel your subscription. You will then pay no additional costs and will receive any prepaid costs back. You will not get a refund for the one-off costs of €50.
If you do not comply with the security requirements, the theft of your fat bike is not insured.
Yes, the tracker can be linked to multiple users. So sharing the fat bike is no problem.
You report the theft to the control room within 1 hour of discovery Fris Nederland via the Zeker! app that is linked to the Fris Smart Tracker. You will remain available to the control room by telephone 1 hour after the report. You report the theft to the police as soon as possible. And you report the theft to Interpolis.
If your fat bike moves uninvited, the Zeker! app sends an alarm signal to your phone. Is your fat bike missing? With 1 click in the app you can report the missing person to the control room 24/7. The investigation team will then immediately take action. And has your fat bike been found? Dan brings Fris Nederland the fat bike to you, wherever you want in the Netherlands.
Good to know: the tracker is not a live transmitter that always shows where you are cycling or where your fat bike is. The detector only works after you report the fat bike as missing.
Nee, Fris mounts the tracker at a location of your choice. This way you don't have to do any work yourself and you can be sure that the tracker is properly mounted. You will receive within 48 hours of your order Fris an email with an appointment confirmation.
